About Us

Primarily Brass is a community-based concert band located in the Epping area of Sydney. The members are mostly aged 9 -15 (and some parents too) from a variety of local schools. Generally the players are of an intermediate standard but looking for a bit of a challenge in the form of more music to learn and play.

The aim of the band is to get out there and perform. Primarily Brass performs at a variety of local events throughout the year including community fairs, festivals, school and church fetes and Christmas carols. We rehearse fortnightly during term time at a local Primary School.

The band has been around for over 15 years and is a not-for-profit association run by the members.
